Night Guards
Custom designed nightguards are made of acrylic and custom made to fit your teeth. Nightguards are recommended for patients who clench or grind their teeth at night or any time of the day to protect their teeth and restorations. A nightguard can also help should you have temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) pain.
If Dr. Butterfield recommends a nightguard for you, we will take a digital scan of your teeth which will then be sent to a lab to make a custom fit guard. You will then return for any necessary adjustments and instructions on the use and care of your new appliance.
