Dr. Butterfield believes in fostering an office environment that supports long-term staffing, so that patients are comfortable with her team of professionals, year after year. This is good for her patients; good for her practice.
Ann Marie, Office Manager
This small, unpretentious office has so much to offer. As for myself, I share my nearly twenty year's of dental experiences. I originally joined the staff of Dr. Butterfield's in 1995. I left and was with a specialty practice in 2000 and returned to Dr. Butterfield's team in 2007. I am thrilled to be back and the response from our patients as been amazing.
You wear several hats as office manager in an office like this, but that is part of the excitement. It is our goal to treat patients as a member of our own family. It is important that every patient, new or long term, feel at ease and comfortable in our office.
Dr. Butterfield is a fantastic dentist who genuinely cares about the dental health of her patients. She expects a very professional and caring staff. I respect her high ethical standards and integrity. Come see what you have been missing. My hope is we exceed your expectations.
Michele, Dental Assistant
My primary goal as a dental assistant is to be understanding and compassionate. It is important to me for you to feel at ease and comfortable in our office. I enjoy getting to know you, our patient, and your family.
As a child, it was fun for me to go to the dentist. That’s a major reason I became a dental assistant. I’ve worked with Dr. Butterfield since 1990. I have over 20 years of experience in a wide range of procedures in dentistry. Many patients comment on how well we work together and how enjoyable it is to come in for dental care. I believe that happy childhood memories form the basis of positive adult experiences. We prove this every day.
Melissa, Dental Hygienist
Since joining this wonderful dental team, I finally understand what a dental office is supposed to feel like - home away from home.
Upon meeting Dr. Butterfield and her staff, I immediately knew that this was the place for me. We share the same goals and compassion for providing quality treatment in a caring, comfortable and ethical manner.
My goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to create a lasting relationship with our patients, as well as, work together as a team toward optimal oral health. Together we will strive to meet each patient’s individual needs in a caring and comfortable manner.
Dr. Butterfield and I work closely together to determine each individual patient’s need for dental hygiene treatment. As a dental hygienist it is my responsibility to personalize every appointment based on those needs. I personally educate each patient to improve their home care techniques allowing us to work together towards optimal oral health.
Tracy, Dental Hygienist
I have been in the dental field since 1987. Before completing my dental hygiene degree in 2000, I was a dental assistant for ten years. My dental experience includes general dentistry and periodontics.
I came to Dr. Butterfield’s office as a temporary dental hygienist to fill in for a couple of days. I was not really looking for employment. After working with Dr. Butterfield and her team, I knew that this office would be a great fit for me. I am drawn by her thoroughness and quality dentistry. I appreciate Dr. Butterfield’s eagerness to provide her patients with the information they need to make well-informed decisions about their oral health. Most of all I am impressed with the care and respect that Dr. Butterfield gives to each patient.
Education is one of the most important roles of a dental hygienist. It is very important to me that my patients never feel they have been lectured or nagged. Rather, patients should be well informed about the condition of their oral health, how it can affect their overall physical health, and how to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Dental visits should be a comfortable and positive experience. I work hard to achieve this with my gentle and caring approach.
Izzee, Office Greeter
I started living with Dr. Butterfield and her family when I was 15 months old. Previously, I was a field trial dog and trained for competition. My life completely changed when I met David and Alec and went home with them. I had boys of my own! One day I had a cough and my mom took me to her office so she could take me to the veterinarian at lunch time. Oh my goodness a wonderful thing happened. The patients loved me and it was the start of my new job! I get to come to work everyday! People visit me and I love it here! Please visit me anytime because I'll always be happy to see you!
